This setup will help the business to process & convert large and bulk media files simultaneously. Setting up multiple servers to take uploaded media files, convert and process them to playable videos. It also improves the video performance. It is highly recommended if you have more than 100+ models on your platform or expect 50+ large videos uploaded simultaneously.

Architecture design

• m-service will generate upload url by calling File sever when having request from client
• Based on business logic, m-service will decide parameters such as ACL, file format, file size…
• End user will upload to responded upload url with related signature
• File service will receive notification from File upload server (eg via web hook, SNS, etc…) and update data itself
• Once done File service will notify to m-service via web hook, or queue message
